I did this to practice female anatomy and make an expressive piece at the same time.
This is an image inspired by a concept by the talented Ivan Kashubo
Used Zbrush for sculpting and texturing, 3ds Max for modeling the armor, mental ray for rendering and finally Nuke for compositing.
I hope you enjoy this image as much as I had fun making it!
Guild Wars 2 Art Test
A character I made as an art test for a character artist position at ArenaNet.
6500 Tris 1k Diffuse, Normals, Specular and 1 bit Alpha. Rendering is done in 3ds Max viewport with Xoliul shader.
This is a character I did for the 3D Character Forge challenge over at CGHub.
His name is Gray Maynard and he’s an amazing UFC fighter.
Modeled in Zbrush and 3ds Max and rendered in Mental Ray.
One of the characters I made for a student film. Very fun to make and a nice chance to practice clothing.
I wanted to make something that is a bit different from your standard bipedal minotaur-like demon design so I came up with this one.
