One of the characters I made for a student film. Very fun to make and a nice chance to practice clothing.
This is an image inspired by a concept by the talented Kashubo Ivan : http://kashivan.blogspot.com/
Used Zbrush for sculpting and texturing, 3ds Max for modeling the armor, mental ray for rendering and finally Nuke for compositing.
I hope you enjoy this image as much as I had fun making it
This is a shark I did for the 25th Hardcore Modeling Challenge at CG Talk. In the end I won the Challenge for best beauty render. Vote thread.
You can check out my WIP thread at CGtalk for more info on the process I used.

This is a character based on a concept by Svetlin Velinov. He is not an exact copy but more like an interpretation. He took me about 3 days to model and render in ZBrush.
You can find the original concept at:
This is a model I tried to replicate from Schell Sculpture Studio.
I’ve started this model from some zspheres and then when I was satisfied with the basic shape the model was resurfaced. After that I started defining the muscle and skin detail along with the textures. This is the first time I’ve tried to sculpt skin detail by hand and I find that it is much more effective than alphas. Hope you enjoy it.
This is a dinosaur head modelled for an university assignment. He was modelled entirely in ZBrush from a very basic shape, resurfaced and then exported to Maya for some rendering. I’ve rendered him out in several passes so I would have more control when compositing in Digital Fusion afterwords.
Here is the final image, wires, sculpt and the compositing network:
